Privacy
Hoppa collects no data. Everything you log stays on your phone.
Last updated: 23 September 2026.
The logbook
Your logbook is a single file on your phone. You can copy it with the Files app. There is no export screen.
No account
There is no account, no Hoppa server, and no tracking or analytics in the app.
Backup
A backup of your phone, including iCloud Backup if that is on, can include the logbook. That backup is between you and Apple. Hoppa does not sync to iCloud itself.
Deleting your data
Delete the app and the logbook is gone with it. Nothing is left anywhere else, apart from any phone backup you made yourself.
This website
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
Like any web server, it keeps a standard access log: IP address, page requested, time and browser type. That log is used only to keep the site running and is deleted after 14 days. The site runs behind Cloudflare, which handles requests on its way to the server.
Support mail
If you mail [email protected], your address and message are used only to answer you. Mail is kept for up to 12 months after the last contact, then deleted. Mail is handled by Proton Mail.
Controller
Rob van Baaren, [email protected]. You can ask what is stored about you, or have it deleted, at that address.
