Terms
These terms cover the Hoppa app and gethoppa.com. By using either, you agree to them.
Last updated: 30 September 2026.
The app
You get Hoppa from the App Store, under Apple's standard licence agreement (EULA). These terms add to it.
Hoppa is free for now, with no in-app purchases. If that changes, the App Store shows the price before you pay anything.
Training
Hoppa does arithmetic. It raises a working weight when you hit the numbers you set yourself. It does not see your form, your sleep or your joints.
You decide what goes on the bar. You can change a working weight at any time, or use a one-off weight for a day. Hoppa is not medical advice. If you are unsure whether heavy training is safe for you, ask a doctor first.
Your logbook
Your logbook exists only on your phone. Hoppa has no server and keeps no copy.
Keep your phone backed up. Without a backup, a lost phone or a deleted app means a lost logbook, and nobody can get it back.
Liability
Hoppa is made with care but comes as is, without a guarantee that it is free of errors. You train at your own risk.
As far as the law allows, Rob van Baaren is not liable for damage from using the app or this website. Nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer.
This website
gethoppa.com is information about Hoppa. There is nothing to buy and nothing to sign up for.
The Hoppa name, logo, text and screens on this site belong to Rob van Baaren.
Changes
These terms can change, for example when the app does. The date at the top says when they last did.
Law
Dutch law applies to these terms. If you live in another country, you keep the consumer protection of that country.
